 ABOUT Lost Makers:

This blog started as something entirely different. It had intentions of collecting physical found pieces of the past to showcase the lost tokens of a seemingly insignificant history.

It will still do that. I'll still scan drawings or letters found in books, sidewalks and toilets. But what I want this blog to focus on is the people who are lost now. As lost as I am. I want it to be a walk of rediscovery. Just like the images that will be peppered throughout, they've been castaway, made useless. When they're found and appreciated, new meaning takes place. Strange and exciting things happen.

I'm no motivational speaker. I'm not even necessarily here to inspire. I'm here to show a real-life take on ordinary things, sharing my clunky steps toward a new and more interesting life story.

For the people:

I hope to reinvigorate purpose via everyday experiences and stories.

As for the pictures:

I've been collecting these lost and profound items for over a decade and share them here with hopes that new life and appreciation will be had for these often absurd and menial pieces of people that were left behind.
